Key Responsibilities:
.- Handle all postal licensing activities. This includes implementation of the postal licensing framework and procedures, coordination with internal and external parties, etc.
- Monitor compliance of the postal service providers with the terms and conditions of their licenses and with the legal and regulatory framework.
- Recommend and take appropriate actions in case of non-compliance, in accordance with Framework.
- Participate in internal and external meetings with postal stakeholders (e.g., service providers, ministries, etc.).
- Handle all matters (e.g., commercial registration, postal commercial activities, etc.).
- Handle internal and external queries and prepare responses and clarifications on all postal licensing matters.
- Perform regional and international benchmarks in postal subjects.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international best practices in postal regulation and licensing.
- Amend existing postal licenses to adapt to the changing environment, as needed.
- Liaise with stakeholders and other regulators as required.
- Any other postal activities as requested by the Section Head
